There are some indications from a massive study on the subject of teenage drug addiction that the wiring in a person’s brain might contribute to whether they will decide to experiment with drugs or whether they will be able to resist that urge. It has been suggested that teens entering a Bay Area drug rehab facility would have a brain that was more likely to allow them to be impulsive and that this type of brain would allow them to be at a greater risk for doing drugs and trying them to experiment at a young age instead of being able to not use drugs while young.
